I try to get a picture of the grandkids when they are here. they stay home like we do. they get to come to misho and grand mas’ for a visit. I cherish the times i spend with them. they all give me hugs. we have fun teasing each other. they all have a sense of humor. they have to when they hang out with misho.
tomorrow I have an appointment for my annual diabetic eye exam. I have to call them when I get there. I sit in the car until they come get me. I am required to wear a face mask. they will also wear them. I like that precaution.
stay at home restrictions are easing up. the numbers of those that tested positive for covid 19 are still going up. most people arent tested so we dont know the actual numbers. Jackson county is nearing 100 cases. I will continue to stay home. I will only go out when necessary. I will wear a mask and gloves.
I don’t think that is an over reaction. I have close relatives that caught the virus. i had a grand daughter, a nephew and my nieces son that tested positive. yes I know some dont live here but still. they tried to be safe and were still exposed. it only takes one person to spread the virus to a room full of people.
i have a grand daughter who has a weakened autoimmune system. I couldn’t live with myself if I expose her because I was careless. I have my own medical problems. I aint afraid to die. in my life I came close to dying a few times. I just dont wanna die til I seen my grand kids grow up. I want to help them learn the teachings I value.
i am keeping busy at home. I found an old gallon of kilz. I read it has a long shelf life. it aint a year old. I shook it up and stirred it. it got to the consistency of paint. I painted my work bench I built. I have enough to paint the other bench I built for the garage closet.
i tilled up where my sema grows. first I had to rake up the leaves. I got a big pile of them that I started another compost pile with. I have sema plants coming up in the first two rows. I will transplant them to the other three rows.
I will till in my potato rows. the Yukon gold potatoes came up sparse. I only got a few plants out of a row and a half. I will till that under and plant something else in those spaces. I have a 80 foot row and a half of red potatoes. they did good.
i still have my crooked neck squash to plant. I will plant their seeds in the rows of corn before the next rain. I already planted my indian beans in the corn. after that I will have everything planted. that was an all spring chore.
